Cardi B clapped back to a fan who asked if she was pregnant on Instagram
In case you missed it, Cardi B is blowing up. After making history in 2017 for being the first female rapper to land on the Billboard Hot 100 since 1998, her name is everywhere. (And we aren’t complaining.) Her single “Bodak Yellow” helped her quickly rise to fame. And then there is “Finesse,” the song that’s always in your head, in the best possible way. She’s officially solidified her status as our current favorite ’90s throwback queen. What’s not to love about Cardi B, the ’90s, and Bruno Mars? Nothing, that’s what.
But there’s something else we love about the rapper: Her Instagram. It’s one of our favorites to scroll through. She shares fire pictures of her outfits, fan art, and new song teasers. And she’s not afraid to clap back when necessary. Recently, after sharing a one-minute video of her new song, a fan decided to stir up a little controversy in the comments. When Instagram user angelicaq28 asked if the rapper was keeping “a Kylie Jenner secret,” Cardi B swiftly shut her down.
Don’t come for Cardi B, y’all.
Shut. Down. “Let me fat in peace” is a whole mood. Cardi B’s response deserves a standing ovation. It goes without saying, but no one should be publicly discussing whether or not anyone is pregnant based on a single picture they post to Instagram. The rapper looks amazing in her song teaser and there is no need to speculate about her personal life when the focus should be on her new music.

Though, to be fair, Cardi B did recently joke that if we want to know if she’s pregnant or not, we should just ask.
During an interview with E! News’ Giuliana Rancic at the 2018 Grammy Awards, Cardi B lamented that people are constantly asking if she’s pregnant. “So it’s just like, if ya’ll wanna know, ask me, I’ll tell ya,” she said.
Still, stop asking celebrities (and all people who can get pregnant) if they are pregnant!
