The Caramelized Honey Frappe from Starbucks is here, and we tried it

To make up for the misleading but still very delicious Cherry Blossom Frappuccino (which ended up NOT having any cherries in it), Starbucks has introduced a brand new drink called the Caramelized Honey Frappuccino.
The icy bev contains “slow-cooked honey caramel sauce mixed with espresso and milk,” and “caramel-y honey bits sprinkled over the top.” You can also get it in latte version if blended up isn’t your thing.
Obviously we caffeine and sugar fangirls here at HGHQ had to try it. Here’s our ~*~review~*~.
“It is basically just a Caramel Frappe, and I’m a fan of those. Does this one have a little hint of honey? I guess. And it’s damn good, too. I think it kind of leaves a weird, almost smokey aftertaste, but that’s fine. I’ll just keep chugging it so I don’t get the aftertaste. But this is good. Two thumbs up, Starbucks.” -Rachel, Staff Writer
“Tbh, it tasted exactly like a Caramel Frappuccino, which was nice, I guess because it made me nostalgic for high school.” -Madison, Senior Editor
“Wow. I was expecting this to be way too sweet, but the most powerful flavor in this Frappe is coffee, which is my very favorite taste in the whole wide world. This kind of tastes like coffee (yum) amped up with the power of a thousand sugar cubes and a dash of caramel. Not sure I taste the honey, but maybe that’s because my blood sugar content just spiked and I’m having heart palpitations. A+ for taste, F for sending me into a sugar spiral.” -Christina, Video Producer
“I’m a big fan of caramel, and this drink did NOT disappoint. I especially loved the ‘lil caramel honey bits sprinkled on top of the whipped cream. It was a nice SCRUMPTIOUS touch.” -Marie, Staff Writer
“This tasted like the Caramel Frappe but with a honey twist, and it was DELICIOUS. Especially the caramel bits mixed in with the whipped cream. This may be my favorite frappe yet.” -Gina, Senior Editor
