We love how Cara Delevingne made underwear a key part of her outfit
Dressed to impress and ready to strut down the Chanel runway herself, Cara Delevingne — with the band of her underwear proudly visible — made an impression with her outfit at Paris Fashion Week on Monday.
Mixing streetwear with high fashion as only Delevingne can, the actress and model donned a cropped Chanel sweater and white trousers, adding a hint of red by showing off a pair of Supreme undies beneath.
Long a devotee of the cult streetwear brand — not to mention one of Karl Lagerfeld’s young muses — the outfit was perfectly Cara, and we’re taking note of the visible-underwear trend this outfit is sure to inspire.
Delevingne was joined in the front row at the show by fellow Chanel muse Lily-Rose Depp and musician/designer/artist extraordinaire Pharrell, who has also long been involved with the couture fashion house.
Last December, the trio walked together in Lagerfeld’s pre-fall ready-to-wear show in Paris, donning long coats and embellished suits that would make any fashionista sigh with longing.
And it was revealed just last month that Pharrell will appear in a forthcoming Chanel handbag campaign, the first man to ever be featured in such an ad.
As for Delevingne, she *officially* bade farewell to modeling in 2015, but Lagerfeld convinced her to come out of retirement more than once the following year; first in March to front Chanel’s spring/summer 2016 eyewear campaign, and later for the “Paris Cosmopolite” show at the Ritz Paris.

Really though, we don’t blame her for signing on to these campaigns — who could resist projects so glamorous?
