Cara Delevingne just debuted a bold new facial piercing
Cara Delevingne recently got our attention when she chopped off most of her hair into a super cute, yet badass, pixie cut. But the model and actress is always making changes to her personal style. Like at the Burberry show during London Fashion Week this weekend, Cara Delevingne debuted a new facial piercing while hanging out with Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss.
It’s not a totally crazy piercing — it’s just her lower lip, right smack in the middle. She didn’t get a wild piece of jewelry, either, and has just a simple silver hoop in at the moment. But of course, she looks like the epitome of cool.
This isn’t the first time Delevingne has worn a piercing, but in the past it’s been an illusion created with makeup; Vogue confirms that this new lip ring is the real deal. But who knows how long it will last? If anything, the piercing, haircut, red plaid pants, and leather jacket look could have all been just for the Burberry London show. A little punk rock, you know?

Getting a clip-on or using your lipstick collection to create an optical illusion is a great way to see if the lip ring thing is right for you. Obviously, having an actual piercing means maintaining it and keeping it clean and healthy — which you don’t have to do with a fake one or some lipstick tricks.
