We can’t get over Dakota Johnson’s sequin dress with the thigh-high slit

We love an ensemble that shows a little leg and still manages to be utterly demure. Case in point: Dakota Johnson and her amazing thigh-high slit. 

The actress donned a Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello dress at the premiere of Fifty Shades Darker in Hamburg, Germany and she nailed it. Saint Laurent is the label for rock and roll sex appeal, and this sequin dress with its thigh-high slit and plunging back is true of the testament. Johnson looked absolutely stunning in the number, and with a bright red lip and her hair pulled back in the perfect messy pony, the Fifty Shades star manages to look both parts Hollywood glam and rock and roll icon.

We’re glad that Johnson chose a edgy black piece for the Germany premier, after all it’s called Fifty Shades Darker for a reason! And we love that this dress has such a fitted and simple silhouette in the front. When Johnson walks or turns around you see the dangerously low, plunging back, kept closed with a ribbon and the sky-high, or rather thigh-high, slit up the side. The floor length gown flatters Johnson and also makes her look miles long. But what we really can’t get over is the slit-sequin combination.

Johnson not only stuns, but proves that sometimes, there’s really no such thing as “too much.”
