This is how you can score Meghan Trainor’s *perfect* spring ankle boots
Spring weather is finally on its way and if you need some warm weather wardrobe inspiration, please check out Meghan Trainor’s purple velvet ankle boots that she showed off on the Smurfs: The Lost Village red carpet this weekend. Yes, you read that correctly: Purple. Velvet. Boots.
Trainor was totally fashion-forward and on-theme with her Rebecca Minkoff booties (which retail for $75 or $112 on Amazon and at Saks Fifth Avenue, respectively) that she wore with a sheer, long-sleeve, floral dress. It was the perfect look to celebrate the Smurfs — and spring!
Trainor is the voice of Smurf Melody in the new film, and sings one super-catchy song called “I’m A Lady.” She wasn’t the only big name looking sharp at the premiere on Saturday, either — Demi Lovato, Ariel Winter, Julia Roberts, Jack McBrayer, Joe Mangianello, Mandy Patinkin, and Rainn Wilson all voice some of the new Smurfs in the upcoming movie an stepped out for the big event this weekend.
Here’s a closer look.
Although Trainor’s ankle boots aren’t crazy expensive, sizes are limited for the Minkoff heels, and now that everyone’s seen how great they look with a cute, floral dress, they’re bound to disappear quickly — so we found you a few other options.
If you’re smitten, here are a few similar purple (and purple-ish) velvet boots to match Trainor’s look.
