Camila Cabello wore bra inserts as a top on the red carpet

Rocking a totally sheer gown is something only the most daring of fashionistas will try due to the inherent risk of a serious wardrobe malfunction. But Camila Cabello showed off her bra inserts on the red carpet, and the end result was anything but a malfunction. Girl looked seriously flawless…exposed bra inserts and all.

Camila was in London over the weekend attending the 2017 MTV Europe Music Awards, and in fact, there were many a style risk successfully pulled off that night. From Demi Lovato’s “topless” look to host Rita Ora rocking a full-on bathrobe and head towel, we were supremely impressed.

And Camila’s sheer embroidered ball gown showed off her bra inserts and the waistband of her underwear, turning a traditional fashion faux pas into an elegant style statement.

She let her dramatic sheer gown stand out by keeping her makeup ethereal and glam, and pulling her hair into a low pony.

Camila was on hand to perform her hit song “Havana,” and she also took home the trophy for Best Pop Award (NBD). However, we’re still fixating on the  pink gown — not to mention her sparkly pink belt, statement pink earrings, and yes…those inserts.

We have the distinct feeling we’re about to see a whole new crop of exposed inserts on the red carpet thanks to this stunning look. We’ve already seen celebs master the whole “exposed boxer” trend, so it was probably only a matter of time before this happened. And we’re not mad about it. Seriously — go, girl.
