Calvin Klein just gave his logo an unexpected makeover

All’s fair in love and fashion? Leave it to Raf Simmons to update the beloved Calvin Klein logo. That’s right, the classic logo you know and love is now defunct. But you can breathe easy, it’s only gotten a bit of a modern upgrade. Simmons, whose first show as designer for Calvin Klein is on February 10th at New York Fashion Week, collaborated with Peter Saville to help revamp the classic Calvin Klein Logo. Saville, who’s responsible for the album art for Joy Division and New Order, brought the logo into the 21st century with capitalized letters and some tweaks on spacing. The brand debuted the change on Instagram, saying it was “a return to the spirit of the original. An acknowledgement of the founder and foundations of the fashion house.”
