Cailtyn Jenner is the first member of the Kardashian-Jenner family to talk about Kim’s robbery on social media

It has been two days since Kim Kardashian experienced a horrific attack while alone in her hotel room during Paris Fashion Week. The details are monstrous — Kim had a gun held to her head, in addition to being bound, gagged, and locked in her bathroom by numerous masked men. The robbers then got away with an estimated $10 million worth of jewelry.
The Kardashian-Jenner family has very understandably kept a low profile in the days following the traumatic incident, focusing attention in the most important place. Kanye West’s abrupt and concerning cancellation of his concert, as well as Kris Jenner’s “thumbs up” to reporters outside of Kim and Kanye’s NYC apartment, is the only public commentary we had seen from Kim’s relatives.
But earlier today, Caitlyn Jenner posted a beautiful photo of Kim on Instagram, expressing her gratitude for her stepdaughter's safety.
Part of her caption reads:
"I'm so thankful she's okay. It's a reminder for us all to be careful in the uncertainty of this world."
The internet has predictably been despicable following the violent attack — victim-blaming Kim Kardashian or even expressing glee at the terrifying fact that she had to beg for her life. Thankfully, public figures like James Corden and Jamie Lee Curtis have defended Kim’s humanity, and it’s wonderful to see Kim’s family add to the public support during the difficult aftermath.
We wish Kim strength and healing.
