You can live in Selena Gomez’s house — if you have $4.5 million lying around
Pack up your bags, friends, because we’ve got a brand new house to move into. I figure that if we pool enough of our money together, we can afford the hefty price tag to call Selena Gomez’s former digs home.
After less than two years in the house, Gomez has decided to put her home in Calabasas up on the market. She purchased it back in 2014 for a cool $3.7 million, but after a few renovations to make it even more awesome, the going price for the sprawling 7,700-square-foot house will set you back $4.5 million. Basically pocket change.
She’s got a few pretty good reasons for putting her home on the market right now. For starters, she kicks off her Revival tour at the beginning of May, and that will keep her on the road for the better part of 2016. This Calabasas home is also a short hop, skip, and a jump away from Justin Bieber’s old house, and proximity to him is no longer at the top of her MUST list for any place. Lastly, and this one is the worst and scariest, Gomez had to deal with a stalker repeatedly showing up at her place over the last year and a half. Thankfully, he was arrested and charged, but it’s completely understandable that she’s looking to put all this past behind her once and for all.
What are we going to get when we drop a whole lot of money on this house? There’s enough room for all of us with six bedrooms and seven bathrooms, along with a pool, spa, and guest house. Oh, and also an extensive security system and and a perimeter gate (because of that stalker).
So whenever you guys are ready to make an offer and move into this place, let me know. My things are already packed.
