We approve of the #BurritoSelfie movement
The burrito is one of life’s greatest joys. It’s an edible envelope stuffed to the brim with rice, beans, veggies, marinated meat, cheese and sour cream. And maybe some guac, if you’re feeling fancy. If we could, we’d eat burritos for breakfast, lunch and dinner. So what do you do when you love something this much? You take a selfie with it, of course. A #BurritoSelfie.
Yep, #BurritoSelfies are the latest Internet craze, and they totally get us. They perfectly capture that moment of being so unbelievably happy to be eating a delicious burrito. Because when you’re in the zone with a really good one, you reach a certain zen that calms your entire being, and you can’t help but share it. When a really good burrito gives you life, you just need the world to know about it.
The #BurritoSelfie movement embodies the simple goodness of the burrito itself: It satisfies a craving while making you feel warm and fuzzy inside. It’s equal parts humble brag and totally justified declaration. It doesn’t discriminate; all burritos are welcome, from Chipotle to Taco Bell to homemade creations.
