Burger King now serves a burger topped with Doritos, what a time to be alive

Listen up, everyone. Burger King is toying around with its menu again, and by toying around we mean serving a burger topped with Doritos.

Yeah, yeah, we know — you need a brief mental respite to regroup from the mind explosion that just took place.

The Consumerist describes the recipe for the fast food chain’s latest quirky offering as “two meat patties covered in American cheese, lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise, and a handful of Doritos.” Precisely what flavor Doritos remains unknown at this time, but that’s probably not preventing tons of pleased Burger King customers from cuddling up with a Doritos-topped burger as we speak.

OK, so who else feels like this Doritos burger isn’t as radical as say, Burger King’s Mac ‘n Cheetos? We do recall adding fries to my burger as a kid (read: last week) or even putting chips on my sandwich because that crunch made it absolutely magical, so we totally get the appeal.

Like the glorious turntable pizza box, the Doritos burger isn’t available in the U.S. (yet, hopefully…thankfully?). For the time being, it’s only offered in Spain, but that shouldn’t stop anyone from giving it a personal test run by purchasing a Whopper and their very own bag of Doritos (sold separately, of course).
