Buns were all the rage at the Elle Women in Hollywood Awards
Trend alert: buns are back!
Monday night marked the 23rd Annual Elle Women in Hollywood Awards in Los Angeles, and all eyes were on some of Hollywood’s biggest leading ladies.
The event honored eight women in Hollywood including, Anna Kendrick and Kristen Stewart, and each one of the nominees looked beautiful as they spent the night surrounded by the entertainment industry’s best and brightest women, all of which are empowering and fabulous.
While the night was about more than fashion, there was a major style trend that we couldn’t ignore. Buns were everywhere and not just on the honorees! There were so many stars rocking a bun at the dinner that we couldn’t help but notice.
Regina King and Aja Naomi King slayed the carpet as they stopped for pictures together. Regina sported a clean and classic high bun hairstyle, while Aja, who was a honoree for the evening, had a sleek, low ponytail 'do.
Lucy Hale you are one gorgeous girl!
The Pretty Little Liars actress opted for a sleek and chic, low bun which helped to keep the focus on her feminine, flower-embellished dress and plum lip color.
As one of the night’s honorees, Lupita Nyong’o once again impressed us with her overall look. Her dress was the perfect fall color palette and we seriously cannot get over her flawless eye makeup.
Her bun however, might be the showstopper because it is adorned with a scrunchie that matched her dress's print.
What can’t Vanessa Hudgens make look hippie chic?
The Grease Live star showed off her iconic bohemian style with a funky and fun white gown, which was complimented by her messy topknot and burgundy pout.
Ashley Benson posed alongside fellow actress Sasha Lane and they both rocked buns that we are crazy about.
Lane looked fierce and funky with her half-up, half-down topknot combo, while Benson kept it classic with a pulled-back low bun.
Okay, one more bun shot just for good measure...
