There’s a “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” coloring book and all our dreams have come true

We’re of the opinion that ’90s TV was actually the best TV. Shows like Dawson’s CreekBeverly Hills 90210 Saved by the BellThe Fresh Prince of Bel-Air were EVERYTHING. Of course, the one that we loved the most was Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Don’t these opening credits bring back so many memories?

For years we were engrossed in the adventures of Buffy and the “Scooby gang” as they attempted to prevent Sunnydale from slipping into the clutches of the Hell Mouth. If we’re being 100% truthful, we still agonize over whether Buffy should pick Spike or Angel. We also really wish we had someone like Giles in our lives to help guide us.

Basically, we wish were part of Buffy’s gang.

When Buffy finished in 2003, our hearts were broken. Luckily, the series was continued by Dark Horse Comics, which has extended the longevity of the show to 10 seasons. We’re always looking for more ways to immerse ourselves in the Buffyverse.

One other thing we’re totally obsessed with at the moment is adult coloring books. So, when we found out that Dark Horse were going to be releasing a Buffy themed coloring book we basically completely lost it.

This is us right now.

The book features beautifully drawn illustrations by Karl Moline, Rebekah Isaacs, Georges Jeanty, Yishan Li, Steve Morris, and Newsha Ghasemi, and contains of all your favourite characters, including Willow, Xander, Giles, and loads of the creepy baddies that featured throughout the series.

We’re totally going to sharpen all our coloring pencils and pretend that they’re wooden stakes we’re killing vampires with.

The Buffy the Vampire Slayer Adult Coloring book is slated for release in January 2017. You can pre-order it here.
