“Buffy the Vampire Slayer” fans are going to flip out over Milk Makeup’s new lip metals
Chokers, slip dresses, and metallic lips are far from over. We’re in the middle of a huge ’90s revival and honestly, we’re loving it. We’re dusting off our Doc Martens, re-watching our fave throwback shows, and stocking up on more statement lippies. Milk Makeup’s newest release is precisely what happens when worlds collide. Lovers of glitter and ’90s TV are going to freak out over this liquid lipstick collection inspired by Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
The two-part collection features rosy, copper shades in “Buffy” and “Slayer.” “Buffy” is a lighter hue, (think daytime, school, cheerleading practice), while Slayer is deeper for a night out and perhaps, ya know, battling the undead.
Milk Makeup describes Buffy as a new kind of nude lip. Not that we’re complaining, but we are pretty happy to see something a bit different from the run-of-the-mill mattes.
Slayer is a bit darker (because, of course), but it’s not so vampy that it has to be reserved for a night out. We’re actually thinking of going all out and pairing this lippie with Milk Makeup’s Eye Pigment in Peep Show. (If we could get some two-tone locs by tonight we’d really be in business.)
These two would make a killer ombré, pardon the pun.
