BTS’s first full English song is here, and wow, this should have been a summer banger
If you aren’t already on board with BTS, get on board with the Korean boy band because they are about to take over the world. The seven-member crew has released dozens of hit songs, mostly in Korean, sometimes in both Korean and English, but the international superstars just dropped their first entirely English song, and it bangs. The song is a collaboration with Steve Aoki and we seriously wish it was summer in the U.S. because we need a pool dance party asap if we truly want to enjoy this song.
The song—”Waste It On Me”—reminds us of Justin Bieber’s collabs with EDM artists like Diplo and Skrillex and, honestly, young pop musicians should be linking up with EDM legends more often, because it’s perfect. As always, the boys of BTS are committed to their fans, who said in a statement (via MTV.com) that the song “was refreshing and fun to record. We hope this would be a good present to our fans.” Awwww.
BTS’s U.S. takeover is only a matter of time. In June 2018 they were the first K-pop group to land in the top slot on the Billboard Artist 100 chart, and they just launched a physical billboard for the new single in Hollywood, California.
AOKI JUMP WITH THE #BTSARMY!! Love you all!! That was wild. #WasteItOnMe ✌🏼✌🏼 @BTS_twt pic.twitter.com/5kTU1Rm9Zo

The song is a tropical house/pop track (similar to Bieber’s “What Do You Mean?”) about young love and fleeting affairs.

If you like “Waste It On Me,” check out some of the band’s Korean-language tracks, but be warned, you might lose a few hours in a BTS music video K-hole.
