There was an incredible ‘Baby Sitters Club’ reunion

1995 called, and it wants to let you know that 20 years later the members of the Baby Sitters Club are still going strong. Of course they are. There was never any doubt that these girls would be friends forever.

Tuesday night, the cast of the movie — Rachael Leigh Cook (Mary Anne), Larisa Oleynik (Dawn), Schuyler Fisk (Kristy), Stacey Ramsower (Mallory), Bre Blair (Stacey) and Marla Sokoloff (Cokie Mason) — gathered together with director Melanie Mayron to celebrate the film’s two beautiful decades on this Earth. This reunion went down at the Alamo Draft House in Austin, Texas, and not only was the movie screened but our Club also had a Q&A with the audience. As the Draft House wrote on its website, the evening was guaranteed to be, “way more fun than baby-sitting for Jackie Rodowsky.”

Attendees were encouraged to dress up as their favorite character, and the Draft House whipped up some perfectly themed drinks for the event, like the Ann M. Martini and the Kid Kit (just like the standard issue Kid Kit for all BSC members, but this time with way more alcohol). And like any amazing reunion, the whole thing was thoroughly documented all across Instagram, so we can relive our favorite memories from Summer ’95.

You’re probably already thinking this, but let’s throw it out there for real: can we get a BSC revival? But it HAS to be the original cast. Clearly we’re still dying to be friends with them 20 years later.
