The video, which as over 25 million views breaks down how to fix a broken nail with a tea bag.

To start, you take a tea bag, empty the tea, and cut off an appropriately sized piece to fix the broken nail. Then, you apply a clear base coat to your nail, which essentially acts as an adhesive for the tea bag.

Afterwards, place the section of tea bag on the wet nail, covering a sizable section of the nail as well as the broken part. Take a small break while the tea bag dries onto the nail. Afterwards, apply a topcoat of clear polish over the nail and the tea bag, which has now dried onto your nail.

Let it dry completely before taking a nail file and filing off the extra part of tea bag, which is hanging off the end of the nail. File gently and buff the nail and it will look like nothing even happened. Not that tea bagged nails aren’t stunning in themselves, but we recommend painting your nails to cover any indication of nail imperfection, as the tea bag will be slightly noticeable.
