The two exchanged vows in 2019.
Major headlines are popping off in the Pitch Perfect– and Selling OC-sphere this week. On September 15, 2022, Barden Bella Brittany Snow and Oppenheim realtor Tyler Stanaland announced their split via Instagram.

“After time and consideration, Tyler and I have made the difficult decision to separate,” Snow penned. “This decision was made with love and mutual respect for one another. We have realized we need to take some time and make sure we are each living our most fulfilling and authentic lives.”
“We started this journey as best friends and our relationship will continue to be a priority not only for us but for our dog Charlie,” she continued. “We sincerely appreciate your support and ask for privacy as we navigate this new chapter.”
Stanaland shared an identical statement to his Instagram as well.
The divorce news comes on the heels of an accusation made by Stanaland that his coworker, Kayla Cardona, tried to kiss him off-camera during this season of the Netflix show Selling OC.
On the show, it comes to the attention of several O-Group realtors that at an off-site workplace gathering, Cardona attempted to make a pass at Stanaland. This wasn’t a one-off occurrence either, sources say. While Stanaland shut down the situation both times, it was enough to make him and others in the office uncomfortable. Out of respect to everyone, including his wife Snow, Stanaland took action.
“But that was something where I had to kind of set some hard lines and some boundaries and reconsider the social environment a bit,” Stanaland said on the Reality Life with Kate Casey podcast. “Nothing happened. It was just … something that, you know, you don’t do to somebody who is married.” Meanwhile, both stars agreed a line was crossed. Cardona, after feeling the heat from several of her co-workers, apologized to Stanaland for overstepping. Stanaland also apologized for his part in the matter, adding that their professional relationship shouldn’t have gotten that personal.
According to several sources, the Netflix show was a point of contention in their relationship.
Allegedly, Snow wasn’t a big fan of Stanaland being on reality TV.
“Brittany never wanted Tyler on the show but he was adamant,” a source told PEOPLE. “He wanted to make a name for himself on his own terms.”
Another source told the outlet, “They’re fully over. All of the girls [on the show] are obsessed with him. He’s been trying to be really respectful but it’s taken a toll on his marriage 100 percent.”
“Everyone who knows Tyler and Brittany knows she wasn’t comfortable with the show,” an insider echoed to Page Six. “That’s why he did his best to keep his marriage and the show separate, but it only backfired.”
Netflix has yet to order a second season of Selling OC. Should the streaming giant do so, it’s inevitable that fans will see Stanaland’s divorce from Snow play out in some capacity.
