Britney Spears won Favorite Female Artist at the People’s Choice Awards
Oh, baby, baby, it was a good night at the 2017 People’s Choice Awards. A ton of our favorites were crowned winners. Case in point, Britney Spears won Favorite Female Artist, beating out some major competition.
We have been big fans of Miss Britney Spears since she busted on to the scene with her song ~ and that video ~ “Baby One More Time” in 1999, and almost 20 years later she’s still killing the music scene. We are so, so happy for her.
The 35-year-old singer beat out some big time artists, including Adele, Beyoncé, Rihanna, and Ariana Grande. Each of these singers are totally deserving of an award, but something about Britney taking it home feels so right after the stellar year she’s had.
Spears has been super hard at work on her Vegas show and dropped her album Glory, which was on total repeat all summer long.
She also took home several other awards this evening, including Favorite Pop Artist, Best Comedic Collaboration, and Favorite Social Media Celebrity.

The singer didn’t attend the event this year, which took place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, but we know all her fans ~ like us ~ are cheering her on!
