Britney Spears Hints at ‘Big Fight’ with Someone She Loves—And Handles It In a Relatable Way
The singer isn't about to let a little conflict get in the way of treating herself.
When the going gets tough, Britney Spears doesn’t let it get her down. Instead, she spoils herself with some self-care – with a little help from her style idols the Kardashians. In a recent Instagram post (which has since been taken down), Spears alluded to a distressing conflict that has many fans wondering what’s going on in the Lucky singer’s personal life.
“This morning I woke up to a big fight with someone I love,” she confessed in the now-deleted Instagram post from November 10th, 2022. “It literally broke me into pieces.”

While she doesn’t name the loved one in the post, many fans speculated she had a lover’s quarrel with new hubby Sam Asghari, who recently came home from a (longer than usual) work trip.
“I’ve never cried so hard in my life !!!” she adds in the post.
Whatever the context for the fight, the Toxic singer didn’t let it stand in the way of having a good day.
“Well I lay in bed lay in bed lay in bed,” Spears continues in the post caption. “ENOUGH I’m not gonna lay in bed and give the other person the satisfaction of ruining my whole day!!!”
She drew inspiration from reality TV star Khloé Kardashian, to treat herself on days where nothing seems to go right. “’I deserve to get my nails done … it’s been 5 weeks!!!” Spears declared in the caption. I need to protect my HEART AND HANDS.”
“I saw this pic yesterday of @khloekardashian with the cool hair and she’s right as rain,” Spears added, referencing the image she chose to post of The Kardashians star with the quote overlay, “If I’m in a coma, I’m still getting my nails done once a week and that’s in my will.”
It’s the second time this week that the pop icon talked about the youngest Kardashian sister. On November 8, Spears tweeted a photo of Khloé from back in September, in a sparkly two-piece ensemble and sparkly spike-heel boot, and a throwback wavy hairdo.
“She’s the reason I crimp my hair now 💇🏼♀️ !!!” Spears wrote. “How f’n hot is that … but I don’t see how hers is more puffy !!! I’m working on it … she’s beautiful !!!”

The Kardashians, who never miss a celebrity compliment, responded to the singer’s kind words.
“You are so sweet!!!” Khloé directly replied. “I wish I could say I did this myself but I Did not. Ha!…You’re beautiful! ❤️❤️”
She then revealed her secret beauty weapons: a curling iron, and texturizing spray, with a lot of backcombing.
“She sure is!” Kim Kardashian added, responding to Spears complimenting her baby sis’s beauty.

As for anyone else having a less-than-ideal day, Spears has one piece of advice: “Get your f***ing nails done!!!” Well said, Britney. Well said.
