As one should when you are basically American royalty. While most people are expecting Britney to shower her bae with expensive gifts, it’s nice to see the intimate birthday celebration take shape.

Britney shared some photos of the couple’s celebration — which looks like it included a hike, a cake, and that adorable Snapchat pic.
Sam took to social media to gush about Britney using his real name on the cake she got for him. Awww.
It looks the couple is happy and moving into a great place romantically.
Britney and Sam met on the set of Britney’s music video “Slumber Party” last year.

But it was almost a missed connection. Apparently, Sam gave Britney his number, which Britney misplaced for months.
Lucky for Sam, Britney eventually found his number and gave him a call. They went public in December. Since then, the two have been inseparable.

Besides the low-key birthday celebration the two shared, the couple enjoyed a stay in a $30 million dollar AirBnB mansion for Valentine’s Day, and posted a photo of their cuddle session on New Year’s.
