Britney Spears and BF Sam Asghari bonded over sushi in between takes for the “Slumber Party” music vid
Our favorite pop star, Britney Spears, got personal about her romance with model Sam Asghari, and it’s everything we’ve been waiting for. It’s been a few months since dating rumors of the singer and video leading man hit the web, and one call into a local radio station just confirmed our suspicions.
According to Britney, the two met while on set of her 2016 video Slumber Party, bonded over their love for sushi and then set a date to meet up. The singer followed through on the ask a few months later when she stumbled across his phone number, and the rest is history!
Who would’ve thought that sushi would be the thing to bring these two hotties together!
"We were waiting and waiting together for 20 minutes at a time, literally stuck there," the singer spilled. "We were forced to talk to each other."
The two chatted about their love for sushi and other smalltalk topics in between filming breaks. And although it wasn’t apparent to Britney then, we all know that that’s how relationships tend to blossom.
Britney then went on to explain how she kept in tough with the Slumber Party leading man.
"I kept his number," Britney told AMP 103.7. "And it was so weird because it was like five months later that I found his number in my bag. I was like 'He was really cute. This guy was really cute!' so then I called him. He is just a really fun, funny person."
