Brie Larson’s fashion #TBT takes us right back to this 2000s-era designer
We seriously need to spend *way* more time thanking Brie Larson for keeping our, er, unique childhood fashion choices (okay, they were awful) alive through her own #TBTs, because we’re not nearly brave enough to share ours.
Yesterday, she shared what was probably her best 2000s #TBT yet:
The caption was a simple, and perfect, “I’m sorry.”
It’s literally the best thing we’ve seen in fashion all week, and we’ve seen a lot.
The 2000s refuse to die, in both a good and bad way.
Her blazer, though, is long gone.
Remember Heatherette? The brand behind the blazer was created by *totally* iconic 2000s fashion designers Richie Rich and Traver Rains in 1999, but its demise was suspected when they stopped being a part of Fashion Week in 2008. The brand dressed totally 2000s faves Pink and Kelis (though our love for them will never end!) and, of course, came up with this ~unique~ blazer.
They also did a collaboration with MAC Cosmetics, complete with outrageously cute, Barbie-esque packaging.
Here’s a few sartorial gems from Heatherette, so we can really bask in 2000s fashion.
Designers Traver Rains and Richie Rich with, obv, Fergie.
So, so colorful.
Yep, that’s Paris Hilton.
Does it get any more 2000s?
Plus this shot from 2005 fashion week.
As Brie Larson said, there’s really nothing to say but sorry.
