Brie Larson meeting Mickey Mouse and having a complete meltdown is all of us
Sometimes you see a picture and it makes you go, “Yeah, same.”
Sometimes you see a picture of an Oscar winner and future Marvel superhero, and it makes you go, “Yeah, same.”
The latter one doesn’t happen often, but when it does happen, it’s magical. Oscar winner and future Marvel superhero, Brie Larson, hit up Disneyland yesterday for what was certainly a fun-filled day in the California Sun. While we don’t know all the details of her day, we can correctly assume that she rode some rides, ate a dozen churros, and watched some fireworks. We can also 100% confirm that she met the Mouse himself, Mickey, because Brie shared the picture to social media.
Know how you think it’s hilarious when kids meet the giant costumed characters, and freak the F out? Yeah, Brie did the same.
Posting to Instagram, Brie shared that Mickey “made an adult woman cry” and omg. The guy you see behind Brie and Mickey is her boyfriend, Alex Greenwald, who is just letting them have their moment.
The picture certainly looks like a throwback – and shoutout to Brie’s crazy-cool mid-90s look and jacket. But nope, this picture was taken yesterday, August 8th. We know this, because others posted to Instagram that they had bumped into Brie in the park (but at this point, she was not yet sobbing hysterically in Mickey’s arms).

Happy tears aside, it sure looks like Brie had an amazing day at the happiest place on earth. And if this picture doesn’t scream “CHRISTMAS CARD” I don’t know what does.
