Brie Larson wore a belt-covered dress that has us ready to hop into spring

We’re calling it the perfect Easter frock. Brie Larson recently wore a dress covered in belts, and while it looks like it took her a crazy-long time to wiggle into this number, it’s the ideal shade of pastel purple for spring. And exactly the right style for the upcoming bunny-centric holiday!

Making publicity rounds — including three panel discussions! — in New York on Monday for her new film, Kong: Skull Island, Larson donned a lilac, A-line mini-dress covered neck-to-hem in buckled belts by French designer Carven. She (and her stylists) polished off the outfit with a pair of incredible patent leather platform loafers from Tod’s.

Here’s Larson in the frock.

And here’s a closer look at those shoes — because OMG.

If you’re swooning over the dress and want to wear it to every summer wedding and bridal shower on your calendar, be prepared to shell out some serious cash. It’s available now from luxury e-tailer Moda Operandi, and it’s priced at $1,250.

And those shoes? They don’t come cheap, either. You can get them from My Theresa for $765, and they’re only available at the moment in a few larger sizes.

As for Larson and her work on Kong, the actress says she’s proud of the “bold” finished product, despite the endurance required to make the film.

“We dealt with 120-degree weather and then freezing cold and hail,” she explained in an interview with Uproxx. “And no matter what, it’s the same tank top and pants and boots. And through rain, through mud, through desert, whatever it was you just keep going. And that was pretty fun. I mean, it was wild. We were actually out in the jungle every day.”

The movie premieres this Friday, so go see it.
