Best bridesmaid ever performs epic wedding version of “Ice, Ice Baby”

While being asked to be the maid of honor is a true testament of friendship, it’s also quite a bit of work. Maid of honor duties include everything from coordinating bridesmaids dresses and planning the bachelorette party to delivering a heart-wrenching (or gut-busting, depending on your style) wedding toast.

So we can’t help but salute Rachel Winterbottom for deciding to have some fun with her speech, delivering a rousing rendition of Vanilla Ice’s “Ice Ice Baby” in this viral video that swept the U.K. and is now making its way to the states.

Rachel puts her own spin on the lyrics with lines like:

Rachel’s sister and husband, Hayley and Paul O’Brien, were delighted (how could you not be?) at the surprise toast which received raucous applause and a standing ovation from the wedding-goers. I particularly enjoyed the adorable dad and daughter background dancing duo.
