This bride sent a couple a bill after they skipped her wedding without notice

Weddings are expensive no matter how you slice it (wedding cake pun ABSOLUTELY intended) and though most brides and grooms keep the $$$ of the whole shebang to themselves, every once in a while, something drives a newlywed to come clean about costs.

As Minnesotan Jessica Baker explained to NBC affiliate KARE 11, she was not able to attend a wedding she had RSVP’d to with her husband when their childcare arrangements fell through. A week after the wedding, Baker received a bill from the bride for $75.90 for the two orders of herb crusted walleye Baker and her husband would have enjoyed had they attended the wedding reception. The food sounds delicious, but the bill for missing out on it is throwing Baker through a bit of a loop.

“This cost reflects the amount paid by the bride and groom for meals that were RSVP’d for, reimbursement and explanation for no show, card, call or text would be appreciated,” the bride explained in her invoice.

Baker was understandably perplexed by the bill and she’s been reaching out to her community (and, you know, the great wild world of Facebook) for help deciding how to respond.
