You need to be on a wait list to get these gorgeous tattoos
If you love tattoos and awesome things in general — this one’s for you. Brian Woo (aka Dr. Woo) is a tattoo artist in Los Angeles and is so popular, he has a six month wait list. Why? Because he’s ridiculously talented and creates uniquely intricate tattoos that people can’t get enough of. People from all over the world are obsessed with his signature style of geometric fine-line, single-needle style tattoos — including us.
Last year, The New York Times ran a story on Woo where they called him “an in-demand tattoo artist for the Hollywood set.” And that still holds true today. Rad celebs like Drake, Ellie Goulding and Sarah Hyland, among probably hundreds of others, have all gotten inked by Woo.
Woo currently works his ink magic at Shamrock Social Club, one of Hollywood’s most beloved tattoo parlors. He started his career as an apprentice to Mark Mahoney, Shamrock’s owner, but Woo has certainly made a name for himself with over 455k Instagram followers — and plenty of real life followers. Fans of his tattoos line up outside the shop just to be able to make an appointment in person — six months out. Tattoos last forever though, so waiting six months to get the most perfect one doesn’t seem unreasonable in the grand scheme of time.
