The #BraToss Challenge is social media’s latest craze, and here’s why we absolutely love it
We know that social media loves a craze, and the latest one, the #BraToss Challenge, is something we can 100% get behind.
If you throw your mind back to the halcyon days of 2014 (those sweet, sweet days), you might remember the Ice Bucket Challenge was completely ubiquitous. Of course, that was for a completely incredible cause, and actually helped fund a major breakthrough in ALS research.
Then last year it was the Mannequin Challenge that completely took over social media. Everyone from this set of dogs to Britney Spears and her dancers, and the actual Hillary Clinton took part in the viral challenge. And then this year, the Demi Lovato dance challenge completely took over the internet.
Basically, people online love a challenge.
Well, now there’s a brand new internet challenge that’s all about supporting women, and it’s called the #BraToss Challenge.
Introduced by YouTuber, author, and activist Lilly Singh (aka Superwoman), the challenge was launched on International Women’s Day (March 8th) to help raise awareness for women’s rights.

"This is my bra, Lilly says, "and I’m throwing it in support of every type of woman around the world. And I’m challenging every viewer of this video who believes in the power of sisterhood to take the bra toss challenge, because we’re in this together!
The challenge is simple: All you have to do is grab a bra, tag some incredible women that you want to toss it to in support (because bras offer support), share your video on social media, and, as Lilly says, #SpreadLove.

We absolutely love everything about this. Not only is it super cool to see women supporting other women, but we love that the challenge is raising awareness for women’s rights, too.
So, will you be partaking in the #BraToss Challenge?
