Brace yourself, MAC Cosmetics released more sneak peeks of their upcoming Selena collection

With anticipation building for the release of MAC Cosmetics’ upcoming Selena tribute collection, the brand decided to treat fans to a special look at some of the products. In April, we were able to see a sneak peek of Como La Flor, a lipstick based on the signature red shade Selena would wear onstage.  

“I’m here to unveil the look of the new Selena MAC collection,” Selena’s sister, Suzette Quintanilla said during an appearance on MAC’s Periscope and Snapchat. First up was “Como la Flor,” followed by “Dreaming of You,” a deeper-toned red that was a personal favorite of the Tejano singer. This shade may also be the closest to Brick, the Chanel lipstick she coveted. The third lipstick is a nude-tone called “Amor Prohibido.” There’s also an online exclusive lip color, which appears to be a light pink gloss, called “Bidi Bidi Bom Bom.”

Along with the lip colors, the collection will include mascara, eyeliner, a duo blush compact, blush brush, and five eyeshadows, such as a purple shade called “Queen of Cumbia” and a black shadow called “Is It The Beat.” “I can’t wait for you guys to actually see these and have them on!” exclaimed Suzette.

Selena’s husband, Chris Perez, showed a photo of the collection on his Facebook page. “Here you go guys and girls…a first look at the MAC Selena Limited collection! It’s almost tiiiiiiiime,” he wrote.
