This little boy’s reaction to learning he’s a big brother might make your heart explode with joy

Get ready to have your heart completely shattered by a little Irish boy who is surely the most awesome future big brother in the entire universe. In a new video posted to you YouTube (by his parents…awww), we get to see his reaction when he learns that his mom is expecting a new baby. And guys, it will crush you.

Apparently, this kid has been anxiously awaiting a younger sibling. At the start of the video, his mom hands him some cards to read aloud. They’re written from the perspective of the new baby, and the first one says, “I know you have been wishing and praying for me for a long time now…”

The little boy seems a little baffled a first. What’s up with the cards, mom? The next one reads, “I’m sorry I took so long to get here.” But it’s not until he sees his new “big brother” t-shirt that he realizes the awesomeness of what’s happening. Then he gives his mom a hug that will decimate you.

The hug, you guys. THE HUG. If the moment when he and his mom embrace doesn’t make you cry ALL the tears, then you might want to see a doctor because your heart may have fallen right out of your chest. This family gets every award for most precious family of all time. What a lucky, lucky baby. We should all have big brothers like this one. I’m seriously questioning my life as an only child right about now.
