This boy’s reaction to a screaming baby is the one we all have on the inside

I’ll admit it: I’m not good with babies. Two year olds and older I can handle — they have basic abilities with words and can at least express some wants — but when it comes to infants, I’m at a loss. Every time someone hands me their child I freeze up like a deer in headlights.

Hilarious. I’ll admit it, I burst out laughing. I’d scream, too. Heck, there’s been plenty of times where I’ve held a screaming child and had to stop myself from wincing or crying myself.

I kind of wish there were a Look Who’s Talking moment here so we could find out if the baby is just messing with his older brother. “Oh, he thinks this is easy, huh? I’ll show him!” These types of situations are, after all, ripe for comedy.

Now, the next time a friend has me hold their child, I can take comfort in the knowledge that I am not the only one terrified by the prospect. I’ll just have to hope there’s no one filming me to capture my unease!
