The Boy Meets World cast met up with Mr. Feeny, and this feels like our family reunion
The best thing about the Boy Meets World cast is how much they all still love each other. Just in 2018 alone, Ben Savage attended Matthew Lawrence’s engagement party and Cory and Topanga (Savage and Danielle Fishel) reunited with Will Friedle at New York Comic Con. But sadly, William Daniels, aka our fave, Mr. Feeny, rarely shows up to these alumni fetes…that is, until now.
The Boy Meets World cast (Savage, Fisher, Friedle, Daniels, and Rider Strong) reunited on March 14th, 2019 at Emerald City Comic Con, and we haven’t seen the main cast together like this in so long. The last time they reunited was in 2016 to film an episode of the spin-off series Girl Meets World, but that was for work, you know? This is just five old friends hanging out at a convention.
Fishel captioned the photo “Dream. Try. Do Cons,” in homage to Feeny’s parting words in the show’s series finale episode.
Savage also posted a photo from the convention with Daniels and wrote, “Always my teacher and friend,” and okay, wow, we’re crying now.
Back in December 2018, Daniels announced on Instagram that he would be attending the convention, but only after some serious persuasion from co-star Friedle.
In case this picture has whet your appetite for more Boy Meets World content, Fisher and Friedle announced at New York Comic Con (via Entertainment Weekly) back in October 2018 that they are working on a secret project together and in the process of “shopping [it] around.”
We may never get another Boy Meets World reboot, but if we keep getting these family reunion photos, we’re good.
