Blurring is the new beauty trend that might give you perfect skin

How many times have we wished we for a Valencia filter IRL? If we’re being honest, a lot of times. The soft focus look is our friend, giving our selfies a gorgeous glow that sort of makes us look like we live in a Beyoncé video. And who wouldn’t want to do that?! Good news, you guys. There’s a new beauty trend that makes it possible. It’s called “blurring,” and the idea is to give the skin a soft, luminous glow.

Blurring started in Korea, and now they’ve got a lot of make-up foundation products on the market specifically designed to achieve the look. Charlotte Cho, a Korean beauty expert and co-founder of Soko Glam, told Seventeen, “It’s kind of like making your face look a little cloudy. You’re using formulas that disguise fine lines, uneven skin tone, patchy skin, and dark spots, but not so much coverage that you look heavily made up. It’s not going to completely cover up that pimple, but it will hide it a bit, making you look bright and natural looking, but not flawless.”

We have to say, it looks pretty amazing.
