How a blind mother “saw” her unborn baby for the first time

A Brazilian video titled “Huggies Presents: Meeting Murilo,” (sponsored by the diaper company, we know, but seriously it’s so good that it doesn’t matter who it is sponsored by) has surfaced, showing a woman’s real-life ultrasound appointment. In the video, we can see a very pregnant Tatiana Guerra, her doctor, and a 3D ultrasound image on a monitor. Tatiana describes what she thinks her baby boy will look like — details she can only imagine — since she lost the ability to see when she was 17 years old. “Oh, I imagine, well, his nose looks like a little potato,” she tells the doctor. “A small mouth, a chubby little hand.”

While Tatiana talks about how excited she is to meet her son Murilo and how she can already feel his facial features, the image of her son is being printed by using a special 3D printer. CNET reports the printing was done by the digital design team over at The Goodfellas, while photographers Lucas Tintori, Rodrigo Westphal Galego, and Fábio Kenji filmed Tatiana’s reaction to the 3D print of Murilo.

We’ll guess you won’t be able to stop the happy-tears when you watch Tatiana’s doctor hand her the 3D print of Murilo, or when you witness her reading “I am your son,” written in braille on the print.
