Blake Shelton spots four men stranded in a mudhole, totally saves the day

When Blake Shelton isn’t busy being a judge on The Voice and preparing to host the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, he’s saving lives. No really. Back in June, he rescued a stranded driver from Oklahoma flooding and this past Friday, he rescued four men stuck in a mudhole by the Washita River.

Bryar Blanton, one of the men involved in the incident, explained what happened to E! News:

Luckily, Shelton happened to be back home in Oklahoma after wrapping up the latest season of The Voice. When he saw what was happening, he attempted to pull the men out using his truck. It didn’t work, but he had another idea up his sleeve.

We’re not surprised. He’s made a reputation both on stage and off for his good humor and upbeat attitude, even in the face of some kind of awkward moments.

The four men took to Twitter after the event to thank the country singer for his help, and he responded in typical Blake Shelton fashion:

Could we have a action-adventure show all about him? It’s about time a superhero rode a tractor.
