Blake Lively took her sister as her People’s Choice Awards date because #girlpower

You go girls! Actress Blake Lively took her sister to the People’s Choice Awards as her date, proving she’s all about girl power.

On Wednesday, Lively stepped out onto the red carpet at the 2017 PCAs and instead of her husband, Ryan Reynolds, she had her big sis, Robyn Lively right beside her. The two looked stunning as they posed on the carpet together and we just love how much they love one another.

The Shallows star showed off her gorgeous legs in a short, black-shimmer frock by Elie Saab and we’re obsessed. Her redheaded sister, sported an equally gorgeous gown, that showed of her slim figure and made us green with envy!

The sassy sisters even rocked matching killer heels. Well, Blake rocked the black and brown, spiked heels, while Robyn donned the sexy red stilettos.

We hope these two raid each other’s closets on the regular if these shoes are in them.

After sharing the spotlight on the red carpet with her actress sister — who will forever be Teen Witch in our eyes — she had even more fun inside the show. Lively won the Favorite Dramatic Actress Award and we are SO excited for her.

Lively’s night was clearly all about girl power, starting her date choice and ending with her amazing acceptance speech.

After talking about her love of the Spice Girls and her mother’s advice to go for anything you want, she focused on the power of women.

“What was so neat about them was that they’re all so distinctly different, and they were women, and they owned who they were, and that was my first introduction into girl power,” Lively said about the girl group.

"Watching this movie, and the women nominated in this category — when you guys voted for this, you didn't just vote for this movie or me, but you voted for girl power," she explained. "And men voted for girl power, too! You guys are awesome for doing that."

Girl power is alive and well and we are SO grateful that Lively pointed it out!
