Blake Lively revealed her childhood celebrity crush, and we did not see this coming
Blake Lively is one of our favorite humans. She’s funny, down-to-earth, insanely stylish, and is a Martha Stewart-worthy baker (and who doesn’t love baked goods?!). And after finding out Blake Lively’s childhood crush, we officially love her even more.
Given that Lively was a child of the ’90s, there are a few top-crush contenders that you may be tempted to guess. Leo DiCaprio, perhaps? Jonathan Taylor Thomas? Devan Sawa? Sorry, guys. While you were all totally crushable, no dice.
In a game of “Fact or Fiction” for Michael Kors’ Glamour Games series, the actress revealed that her crush was…David Letterman.
Blake explained, "He had my dad's sense of humor. That like really dry sense of humor." To which friend Michael Kors (who was playing the game with her) said, "You're like the only girl I've ever heard who, like at six, had a crush on David Letterman."
And while we literally never could have predicted this revelation, we’re also in absolutely no position to judge. As a group of people who wanted to marry Conan O’Brien, Dimetri from the (100% animated) movie Anastasia, and Kermit the Frog at various times during our childhoods, we shall not throw stones.
Our only question now is: How does husband Ryan Reynolds feel about this?
Don’t worry, dude. We’re sure you’re still Blake’s #1. David was just her number one #1. If that makes you feel at all better.
