Blake Lively and Millie Bobby Brown are BFFs now, and we’re screaming
Though Meryl Streep, the Ryan Reynolds-Andrew Garfield kiss, and Tom Hiddleston’s poorly-received speech arguably received the most press attention from the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, January 8th, there was some seriously important news we initially missed: Blake Lively and Millie Bobby Brown are friends, now. And from where we’re sitting, we think this means Eleven is ready to be the fifth Sister of the Traveling Pants.
The Stranger Things breakout star and The Shallows actress both attended the ceremony Sunday night, with Brown there to support her show and Lively in town to cheer for her husband Reynolds’ nomination for Deadpool. They of course found time to take a selfie amidst all the glitz, glamour, and clapping for Meryl, with Lively mentioning she was “Playin’ it chill….,” aka limiting her freakout, when she met Brown.

Brown, also a fan of Lively’s (seriously, The Shallows is awesome) fan-girled right back, writing “Ahhh this is amazing! It was so great meeting you, you’re the best! Ps. You playing it cool?! More like me playing it cool haha!” in the comments.
However, it must be said that Lively might not be number one on Brown’s BFF list right now. She posted a photo with Ryan Gosling last weekend, and another with her Stranger Things squad on Globes night, but Lively’s picture only merited a spot in the overall collage.

Man. Those Stranger Things kids are even more popular than Starbucks during latte season. When Sterling K. Brown from American Crime Story and This is Us met Brown, he kissed her freaking hand in admiration of her talent … and now with Lively among her admirers, too, it’s pretty safe to say Brown is shaping up to be Hollywood’s 2017 It Girl.
