Blake Lively just shared what features her daughter, James, inherited from her

It won’t be surprising if Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds’ daughter, James, inherits her parents’ acting skills. It’ll be ridiculously adorable, but not surprising. We probably have a few years before we discover whether or not James will become a Hollywood leading lady. But in the meantime, Lively just shared some features that James has inherited from her parents, and it’s all so adorable.

In an interview with Marie Claire for their July issue, Lively said that their 15-month-old daughter “looked like [Reynolds’] doppelganger for the first six months.”

And lately, she has started showing some of her mom’s features. Specifically, “my clammy hands,” Lively said. “And my eyelids, my meaty eyelids.”

Ah, good ol’ clammy hands and meaty eyelids.

Lively and Reynolds, who are currently expecting their second child, don’t share pictures of James on their social media, because they want to give their kids a normal childhood like they had.

“Ryan had a nice, normal upbringing, and we want our kids to have the same normal life that we had,” she said. “We don’t ever want to rob them of what we had, because we’d feel really selfish.”

Makes total sense. We completely respect their decision to keep their daughter out of the public eye, but selfishly, we can’t wait until they decide to share her picture! If anything, just so we can check out those adorable meaty eyelids.
