Blake Lively just won the internet with this “Sisterhood” Instagram
Celebrity friendships are always fun to watch, and one of the sweetest squads in all of Hollywood is the crew from the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants movies. Yesterday, Blake Lively posted a Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants reunion picture, and it is absolutely perfect. The cutest part is that Lively, who’s with Alexis Bledel and Amber Tamblyn in the snap, had to photoshop America Ferrera into the picture, and she did it in the best way: with Markup. Lively used her finger to draw a stick figure with a heart for a head, and put the initials “AF” in it.
AWWWW.
She captioned the picture, “Divine Secrets of the Ya Ya AF @americaferrera while professionally editing you into this photo, I realized you have the coolest and most appropriate initials EVER! #BadassAF #SistersForever#tbt.”
It just goes to show that when young women work together on great things (because let’s not forget that the Sisterhood movies were great), they form bonds that are pretty much unbreakable. Don’t they kind of make you miss your own squad?

This picture was taken at the Paint It Black premiere in May, but Ferrera’s been keeping in touch with her crew since then. Just this week, she posted a picture of herself at Tamblyn’s house, meeting her friend’s new baby. She captioned that one, #thefutureisSisterhood.”
It just makes us so happy to see these women hanging out and supporting each other throughout the years. Earlier this year, they also posted pictures together at the Women’s March, all donning signs and pink Planned Parenthood hats. If the future is female, these gals are leading the charge.
Speaking of the future, Lively’s hinted that the group might do a third movie one day.
“There is a strong chance there might be a third. The four of us are still best friends and to be able to create something together again has always been a dream of ours,” she told Entertainment Weekly. Since it’s been so long, it really would be a Ya Ya Sisterhood sort of move, and a way to honor the friends’ journey through life together.
Lively said of the potential project, “But it would have to be something that really made sense. If you wait this long to do a third movie, it needs to honor the story and the legacy.”
In the meantime, we’ll just eat up all of these random Sisterhood reunions. And cross our fingers that the actresses are working out a screenplay together!
