Blake Lively just posted the most cryptic and bizarre makeup chair photo
This actress is always surprising us with her projects, but her latest social media post has us really curious. Seriously — what is happening to Blake Lively in this crazy Instagram pic? It’s clearly not everyday makeup; she’s getting a face mold created (which looks mega uncomfortable so kudos to her!). But for what exactly?
Some of her followers seemed convinced it’s for a wax figure at Madam Tussauds, which could make sense. However, Elle notes that maybe it’s for her new film A Simple Favor, based on Darcey Bell’s novel about a blogger who discovers that her best friend has disappeared. Lively plays the disappearing friend, so could this be for a dead body cast?! If not that, an avocado-themed party? Okay, probably not, but we are open to any and every possibility at this point.

It looks like we’ll have to wait until Lively posts a follow-up of some kind to find out what’s going on. In the meantime, we couldn’t be more excited for what she has coming up. A Simple Favor is directed by Paul Feig and also stars Anna Kendrick, so already we know it’s going to be amazing.
Lively has several other film projects in various stages of production, and she of course also has an equally busy home life with hubby Ryan Reynolds and their two kids, Ines and James.
