Blake Lively, Anna Kendrick, and Ryan Reynolds are trolling each other on Insta, and it’s glorious
A Simple Favor, starring Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick, is causing quite a stir on social media. Not only does the film look like the ultimate mystery thriller, but it’s currently the center of a trolling storm. Lively, Kendrick, and Lively’s hubby, Ryan Reynolds, have been dishing it out on Instagram and Twitter while promoting the movie. And we can’t stop laughing.
As you surely know, Lively and Reynolds are the queen and king of social media trolling. They often post photos of each other on Instagram with jokey insults and disses (#COUPLEGOALS). So when Lively teamed up with funny lady Anna Kendrick for her latest project, we should have known Kendrick would join in on the fun.
On June 20th, Lively, who plays Kendrick’s best friend in A Simple Favor, shared the movie poster on her Instagram feed. Lively captioned the post,
"@annakendrick47 is the hotter, female(r) version of my husband... so, would it reaaaally count as cheating??"
And the world waited to see which troll would chime in first — Kendrick or Reynolds.

Kendrick beat Reynolds to the punch, commenting,

This Instagram exchange is a follow-up to a May 26th Twitter trolling session between Lively and Reynolds. After Lively shared the trailer for A Simple Favor, Reynolds requested more information (as did we after reading Reynolds’ tweet — Lively drove while giving birth??).
