The ever-hilarious Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick answer the internet’s most-asked questions about themselves
Emily and Stephanie’s friendship in A Simple Favor may look dark and sinister, but the friendship between Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick—their real-life counterparts—seems to be anything but. The costars recently sat down for Wired‘s autocomplete interview, answering the most-Googled questions about themselves.
Kendrick kicked things off with a bang, revealing the origins of the long-held rumor she’s gunning to play Squirrel Girl in a movie adaptation of the comic.
"One person asked me if I would ever be a superhero—and my brother had sent me the Squirrel Girl comics—and I said, 'Oh yeah, I'd like to be Squirrel Girl,' because I assumed that would be one of those answers that just goes away instead of saying something that becomes clickbait...and boy was I wrong," Kendrick said.
Meanwhile, Lively gave fans the down-low on why she temporarily-deleted her Instagram content back in May.

The pair sat down for the interview to promote their upcoming thriller, A Simple Favor, which follows suburban mommy blogger Stephanie’s (Kendrick) attempt to solve the sudden disappearance of her mysterious “best friend” Emily (Lively). Crazy Rich Asians star Henry Golding also stars in the film as Emily’s husband.
The neo-noir thriller hits theaters on September 14th, and we can’t wait to see it—if only for Lively and Kendrick’s chemistry.
