Black Eyed Peas just released new version of “Where Is the Love?” with *way* more celebs

The last few years have been undeniably difficult. It’s hard not to feel like everything is just bad, and it’s nearly impossible to feel hopeful that change will come, and our lives, and our society, will be just a little bit better. In honor of hope, and of justice, the Black Eyed Peas created an updated version of its 2003 hit “Where Is the Love?,” and our hearts are warm for the first time in a while.

The new song includes *so* many of our fave celebs.

On top of the perfection that already was will.i.am, apl.de.ap, Taboo, Fergie, and Justin Timberlake on the original, there are SO. MANY. FAVES.

Who’s in the updated song? Kendall Jenner, Mary J. Blige, Diddy, DJ Khaled, A$AP Rocky, Tori Kelly, Nicole Scherzinger, Jamie Foxx, Jessie J, Usher, Jaden Smith, Quincy Jones, Snoop Dogg, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Randy Jackson, Wilmer Valderrama, Omarion, French Montana, Wiz Khalifa, LL Cool J, Shailene Woodley, Vanessa Hudgens, Lance Bass, Connie Britton… the list goes on, showing that even celebs are feeling the crushing weight of hopelessness, and want to step up for change.

They’re hopeful that the song will bring some light into what’s been a really tough couple of years not just for the U.S., but the entire world.

“I remember when the attack in Paris happened, people would say, We need ‘Where Is the Love?’ again,” will.i.am explained. “And then Belgium happened, and then Turkey, and then Orlando, and then Philando, and then Alton before him, and then Dallas. Everyone was calling on us like, ‘We need that song again.”

We *definitely* feel this. Music is powerful, and it definitely helps us when we just feel stuck and down in the dumps.

Plus, it’s for a good cause.

According to Vulture, proceeds will go toward will.i.am’s i.am.angel foundation, so it’s not just about doing good in theory—it’s about doing good in practice, too.
