This is an exercise-game you can play WHILE binge-watching “Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life”

The day has finally come — Gilmore Girls is back!

Now that you’re sufficiently stuffed with turkey and pie, it’s time to start your viewing party of the highly-anticipated revival. In order to break up the Pop-Tart eating and coffee drinking, you can now binge-watch Gilmore Girls while getting fit with this Stars Hollow approved workout.

There are four episodes of Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life officially streaming, which means lots of couch time, but you can do this Reebok fitness workout and keep your body moving while your mind is trying to deal with all of the fast-talking banter between Lorelai and Rory.

"It can be fun sometimes to veg out in front of the TV, but too much vegging and not enough moving can sometimes wreak havoc on our waistline," Reebok trainer Jamie Eason, who created a Gilmore Girls-themed workout said on the company's blog.

"Since exercise should be fun, what could be more fun than letting your favorite characters dictate your workout to get you moving?" she added.

Yes we know that Loreali and Rory never worked out and ate whatever they wanted, but that doesn’t mean you can’t be even a little bit healthy while watching their crazy antics! Plus, you’ll feel better once you realize that in addition to watching TV all day you did get a little workout in.

Every time you hear the theme song, do 3 alternating heel touches.

Every time Lorelai or Rory order coffee at Luke’s, do 2 hollow rocks.

Every time Rory has a book in her hand, do 3 pendulum kicks.

Every time Yale comes up in conversation, do 3 rowing jump squats.

Every time there is a town hall meeting, do 4 plank thrust jacks.

Every time Kirk has a new job, do 3 side-lying clams.

Every time Emily makes a snide remark, do 2 pike push-ups.

Every time Lane talks about music, do 3 side plank crunches.

Every time Michel is a Debbie downer, do 3 low hold curtsy lunges.

Every time "Oy with the poodles already" is said, do 5 elbows to hand planks.


Don’t forget to have fun with this workout and of course channel your inner Lorelai and Rory while doing every move, even though we all know they’d never workout while watching TV, it would take away from their eating time, which would totally suck!
