Bindi Irwin’s Instagram tribute to her dad, Steve Irwin, is making us sob forever
Talk about chills! The late Steve Irwin’s daughter, Bindi Irwin, posted an Instagram tribute about her dad. Finally, the Crocodile Hunter is set to receive a Hollywood Walk of Fame star in 2018. Bindi displayed her excitement since the announcement on Thursday.
The 18-year-old wrote on Instagram, “Dad changed the world by reaching out to people through their television screens to bring them on the adventure of a lifetime.” The post is making us infinitely emotional. We love how beautifully supportive Bindi Irwin is of her father — we know he would have been so proud and so honored to have her by his side.
Steve Irwin died in 2006 after a stingray incident. His daughter Bindi, who chose a similar career path as her father, has been working with animal centers, zoos, and conservation organizations. Moreover, she always makes sure to keep her dad’s mission and passion for wildlife alive through social media, videos, and photos.
To keep the waterfalls coming, Bindi posted a baby clip of her and her father. She paired the photo with this caption: “Dad you give me strength every day. I hope someday we can be together again.”
I’m not crying, you’re crying!
Furthermore, Bindi wrote that the Hollywood Star means that,”we carry on his important work.” At such a young age, Irwin’s daughter is clearly living up to his legacy. Naturally, we can’t wait to see what her future holds in the animal kingdom. In addition to Steve Irwin, Bernie Mac, Mary J. Blige, and Jack Black will also be receiving a star.
