Billy Ray Cyrus and future son-in-law Liam Hemsworth are apparently bros now

Liam Hemsworth is just one of those guys that you look at and think, “Yeah, seems like a good guy.” In a recent interview, Billy Ray Cyrus, the singer/songwriter/father to Miley Cyrus took some time to gush about his daughter’s fiancé in true future father-in-law fashion.

Miley’s dad told Australian talk show “The Morning Show” that Liam’s “a good man” and went on to call his family “Great people. We love Liam. He’s just a great guy.”

Liam just spent the last two weeks on tour with Billy Ray, and apparently, he loved it. “He drove my truck to Atlanta, he drove my truck through cornfields, swamps — he had the best time,” adds Billy Ray.

It looks like the love is a two-way street for Liam as well. In a recent Instagram post, he shared a video of his father-in-law to be on stage and gave him some enthusiastic praise as well.

We love that Billy Ray is giving Liam his official stamp of approval. Now, where’s the wedding officiant?
