Billy Eichner takes “Billy on the Street” to “Sesame Street,” and it’s ADORABLE
One place we never thought that we’d see Billy Eichner is counting his ABCs with Elmo and the gang, but it seems that comedian has taken his popular and hilarious skit Billy on the Street to Sesame Street, and it’s SO adorable.
In case you don’t know, Billy on the Street is a comedy game show in which Billy Eichner surprises unsuspecting people on, well, the street, and asks them ridiculous questions. He usually has a celeb or two to help accost people, too, and we have to say it’s literally one of the funniest things on TV at the moment.

Well, Billy Eichner has taken is unique humor and hilarious game show to one of the most famous streets in the world: Sesame Street.
In the adorable clip, Eichner is joined by Cookie Monster as they roam around the Sesame Street to promote kindness and compassion. Offering monsters and muppets a cookie, much to the chagrin of Cookie Monster, Billy discovers that Sesame Street might be one of the kindest and loveliest places in existence.

After the Sesame Street YouTube channelshared the clip, Eichner took to Twitter to share his delight at joining the show, calling it the greatest day of his life.

In fact, the TV funnyman even took an incredible selfie, too.

Imagine having a pile up selfie like that! We’re SO jealous.
Meanwhile, it was recently revealed that Billy Eichner was joining American Horror Story for the horror anthology show’s seventh season. Eichner will play a unknown character for six of the 11 episodes of Season 7 of AHS, and will, according to reports, play“a close confidant of [Sarah] Paulson’s character.”
It was also recently announced that Sesame Street would be introducing a new muppet who has autism called Julia. Julia, who has appeared on Sesame Street‘s digital platforms, will make her TV debut in April.
